Test SDR# or other Radio demodulation software on this 15 minutes 192khz band recording with center frequency set at 7405khz. The Audio is compressed with Monkey's Audio for smallest lossless audio file. You need to make WAV from it. Location of audio file: http://virtual.4my.eu/sdr-test It's 192khz 16bit stereo, DON'T LISTEN AS AUDIO! USE SDR SOFTWARE AS DESCRIBED BELOW! 1. Donwload & Install Monkey's Audio from: http://www.monkeysaudio.com/download.html 2. Run the program and drag & drop downloaded APE file, click decompress. 3. Go to http://sdrsharp.com/ and download the program. 4. Extract the zip archive and run install.bat 5. After black box completes all things, find sdrsharp directory where the install.bat is. 6. Go to that directory and run sdrsharp.exe (the dark blue icon). 7. After program opens on the left You can find Source group, pick IQ file (*.wav) from the list. 8. Point open dialog to 2014-08-23 19,22-19,37 7405khz.wav and press Play button in upper left corner. 9. Now You can click AM in Radio group, pick Correct IQ and Swap I & Q for correct demodulation. 10. Vua la, You can now listen to different radio stations in that 15 min recording by clicking on the carrier of each station (the middle of a signal on the waterfall or the highest peak on the spectrum)! SDRSharp will detect that it's 7405khz center frequency to properly display frequency selector as long as the file contains a frequency in its name! If You want to control Your filter more, go to Zoom FFT group and pick Enable IF, Enable Audio and Enable filter. This way You can cut left or right wing of a filter on the bottom in case You get nasty beeps. You can also play with other program functions or use other SDR software for demodulation of parts of this WAV file. This recording was done using Funcube Dongle Pro+ with random wire antenna attached and antenna ground connected to the heat radiator.
